Bret P. Shapiro joined the firm in 2020. Mr. Shapiro is experienced in all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution, from reviewing invention disclosures and meeting with inventors, to preparation of provisional, utility, and design patent applications, through prosecution of the patent applications within the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Shapiro previously worked in the field of chemical engineering and included operational capacities for Pall Corporation, Estee Lauder, DuPont Pharmaceuticals, and Bristol Myers Squibb.  Mr. Shapiro utilizes his engineering and operational experience when providing clients with patent advice and guidance.
